Rates and Terms

Rates: 

1. There is a $25 per day booking fee charged in advance of your reservation. This fee is non-refundable.
2. The hourly rate paid directly to the sitter with cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

There will be an additional $50 Holiday fee for the following:

Terms of Service

• Payment for services is due upon completion of each job. Payment may be completed using cash, Venmo or Zelle.  
• A 4 hour minimum is required for each booking date.  You will be charged for 4 hours or the duration of the job, whichever is greater. Total time is calculated to the nearest half hour.
• Client will be provided with a digital receipt upon completion of reservation. 
• Cancellation requests must be received 48 hours in advance. Please contact Mother Goose Child Care by phone or email IMMEDIATELY if you need to cancel your sitter. All cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled reservation will be charged the 4 hour minimum.
• All cancellations and changes to reservations must be done through Mother Goose Child Care  and not the individual sitter.
• The booking fee is paid in advance, and is NON-REFUNDABLE in the event of cancellation. 
• Inclement weather may pose a safety risk to our sitters in traveling to your location. In the instance that weather prevents a scheduled sitter from getting to their job, Mother Goose Child Care will do our best to replace the sitter for the day. Safety is our first and foremost concern, and large snow storms may result in major delays. Mother Goose Child Care reserves the right to cancel your reservation in the event of extreme weather conditions. 
• Mother Goose Child Care reserves the right to remove a sitter at any time if a child is sick. Determining a child’s illness is up to the sitters discretion but a cough or runny nose may result in a sitter’s removal. The sitter will not be replaced.
• Any child under the age of 18  will be considered in the sitter’s care. In the case of an emergency, the sitter will be responsible for them so you will be charged accordingly.
• You are responsible to reimburse your sitter for any parking fees or activity costs (requested by the client) incurred while providing care for your child/children. 
• If you are in need of expedited services please call our office, there is a $50.00 same day service fee
• Your children must have car seats for appropriate ages when the sitter is required to transport. Car seat rentals are available.
• Transportation arrangements must be made in advance to accommodate the number of children to be transported.
• If for any reason the sitter you have booked has an emergency or becomes ill, we will do everything possible to accommodate your reservation.
• We will do our best to book the same sitter each day during your stay, but cannot guarantee it.
• If you would like to request a specific sitter, and that sitter is avalable, you will be charged an automatic 20% gratuity for the request.
• If you are in need of expedited services please call our office, there is a $50 same day service fee.
