Babysitting for Park City Mountain and Canyons Village
Park City Mountain is one of the largest ski areas in the country, with two very different base areas. On the town side, you are minutes from Old Town and the Town Lift. On the other side of the mountain, Canyons Village has its own gondola, ski-in condos and a resort-village feel. Mother Goose Child Care sends babysitters to both, so you can plan your trip around the snow rather than around nap time.
Our sitters travel to your hotel, condo, timeshare or vacation rental. Each one has been interviewed, reference checked and drug tested, has cleared a BeenVerified background check, and holds CPR and first aid training. Tips for families skiing Park City Mountain
- The mountain is big enough that a full day can mean crossing between the Park City base and Canyons Village. Give yourself a little cushion at the end of the booking for the trip back to your lodging.
- Base-area parking can be paid or busy on peak days. If your sitter pays to park at your property, that cost is reimbursed by you under our terms.
- Want an evening on Main Street after the lifts close? Book a separate evening block. The 4-hour minimum applies to each booking date, and time is billed to the nearest half hour beyond that.

- We pair you with a sitter and confirm before your trip.
- After a sitter is assigned, you can call or text them directly to check a time change; changes and cancellations still go through our office.

Park City Mountain Babysitting FAQs
Do you send sitters to both the Park City base and Canyons Village?
Yes. We cover lodging on both sides of Park City Mountain, plus Old Town, Deer Valley and the rest of the Park City area.
Can I get a sitter the same day?
Often, yes. Call our office for expedited requests. A $50 same-day service fee applies.
What if my child wakes up sick?
Let us know right away. Sitters may leave if a child is ill, at their discretion, and even a cough or runny nose can be enough. In that case the sitter is not replaced.
Is there a minimum booking?
Yes. Every booking date has a 4-hour minimum, and you are charged for four hours or the length of the job, whichever is greater.
How do we pay?
The $25 per-day booking fee is charged in advance. The hourly rate goes directly to your sitter at the end of each job by cash, Venmo or Zelle, and you receive a digital receipt.
